The snow volleyball tournament Wagrain 2022 will take place once again!

Wagrain. The qualification day and the beginning of the CEV Snow Volleyball European Tour 2022 could not have gone any better: springlike temperatures and bright sunshine at the summit in Wagrain-Kleinarl, Salzburg (Austria). This year, participants from a total of 13 nations, fielding a combined total of 17 men’s teams and 6 women’s teams, are enthusiastic about competing in the tournament.

Seven of the men’s teams have already competed in the qualifying matches, which took place on Courts 1 and 2. These matches were full of high-stakes action. Both the Czech Republic and Slovenia were able to advance their national teams into the main round of competition, which will begin tomorrow.

Right from the beginning, you were able to get a sense of the unadulterated delight that everyone was feeling to be back on the court. The athletes were joined in their cheering by members of other teams, friends, and family members, as well as some spectators.

On all three courts tomorrow, starting at 9:20 in the morning, we anticipate competitive and intense matches to take place.
